Dr. Alan Daien has great experience in dealing with spinal issues, both acute and chronic. He has years of experience and has been at the Downtown Chiropractic Centre since 1986. He has taken multiple certifications and courses including Active Release Technique and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment
Dr. Ian Ledger has built a reputation of being the go to guy for mobility issues. He was one of the first practitioners in Winnipeg to become certified in the Active Release Technique and went on to become an assistant instructor of the technique for many years. He also uses dry needling to help loosen muscle, having trained in the Gokavi Transverse Technique. He is constantly attending courses and refining his assessment and treatment skills to give his best to his clients.
Dr. Christopher Notley, BPE, CAT(C), CSCS, DC has been practising health care in Manitoba since 2000. He graduated in 1997 from the University of Manitoba with a Degree in Physical Education. In his last year of studies he began his Athletic Therapy internship after which he certified as an Athletic Therapist in 2000. A year later he certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Dr Notley has been involved with provincial, national and international sports performing both injury rehabilitation and performance enhancement training. He has worked with all forms of athletes as well as the general public. He also taught anatomy at the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy for five years.
After five years of successfully working in multidisciplinary clinics, in and around Winnipeg, Dr. Notley decided that in order to provide better care to his patients he needed to become a Chiropractor. In the fall of 2005 he started school at Northwestern Health Sciences University. For nearly 3 and a half years Dr. Notley focused on becoming a Chiropractor and in November 2008 he graduated summa cum laude and was at the top of his class. Since graduating he has become a certified Active Release Technique provider as well as certified to perform acupuncture.
